The immense popularity of the PWD brands has led unscrupulous "bathtub" manufacturers to produce inferior-quality, counterfeit copies of many of them, especially RUSH®, HARDWARE®, POP'RS®, RAM® and Iron Horse&trade.

Distinguishing genuine PWD products from counterfeit versions is becoming more and more difficult. The latest counterfeit labels look very similar to genuine PWD packaging. Be sure to inspect the bottle for the following:
IF THERE’S A PERFORATION, IT’S AN IMITATION!
The easiest way to spot a fake bottle is to look for a perforation on the label, just under the cap. If a perforation is present, it is undoubtedly FAKE!
 
IT'S FAKE IF THE LABEL WRAPS AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE

If the label wraps around the bottom of the bottle, it’s FAKE!
